STREET EL QUIJOTE

In April Spain Square becomes a stage for the imagination under the initiative of several councils involved in promoting reading among children. This is a literary tour scenes almost always related to Cervantes and Don Quixote, and this year they have played most successful among the smallest in the ten years since making this pr OGRAM.

Each year
for ten, about Reading Day, the square of Spain becomes a fictional scenario in which depict stories and play games that are always associated with Don Quixote and Cervantes. All schools go through this journey.

El Quijote Street is a well-established activity in Alcazar de San Juan because it has been held for 10 years organized by the Department of Education and Clips company with the aim of encouraging reading among schoolchildren from the base of all this related co
n Cervantes. On this occasion, the activity has revolved around the recovery of the library of Don Quixote and reflected in the corners that have been most successful among children in cad one of the previous editions.
The City continues its activities to encourage readers and are working to make this summer conti ue
activities.

These scenarios have been visited during these days for all students of 1, 2 and 3 of primary schools Alcazar and Occupational Center are those who have designed a gift that was given to incoming students. More than 1,000 children from schools go through these scenarios that are placed so that fully occupied the square in Spain. A job that requires months of preparation.

And so, remembering characters from movies, stories and novels, after ten years of educational but fun, Cervantes library is again open with the help of fairies, goblins and especially schoolchildren in the city.
