Euripides - The nineteen tragedies

Medea.

Medea was present at the gate of the palace. With it comes the nurse.

Medea.-Women of Corinth, Vedmar here. I go to the palace not reproach me. Many mortals knew very haughty-view each other in strange land, full of pride that conform to anything. There are others, however, that docile and gentle, they can live a quiet life. Not justice in the eyes of men! Which of times without getting to the bottom of souls, are averse to any harm in them nothing! And that only see the outside. Accurate
is that the stranger meddle in the affairs of the city where he lives. No prudent work which, being a resident of a community, proud offends those who live in it, because I do not know.
But to me ... what has happened in my life is leaving me shattered soul ... I am ... nothing is the life for me ... my only wish is to die, friends of mine!
it was all for me, how well I've known, and is the most abominable of men is my husband!
Of all beings have a soul and mind women are the most unhappy. First you have to spend large volumes to achieve a husband. Got it. Be it a despot of our body. Maybe the evil ills harder. And the most difficult: Is it good or bad? Not granted to women divorce their husbands, or untie the nuptial bond. And we come to the innovations of today. You must be a fortune teller to know, no one has taught us, how he dealt with at that shares our bed. You can adjust to our way of life: the joy of joys. Bear the yoke of marriage willingly. But if not ... better life! When a male
boredom of home life, it leaves would dissipate their anger. Going with a friend, going to his comrades. And what about us? A single being is in whom we must turn our eyes!
Yes, I know. They say that we spend our lives safe at home, without pain, without danger ... and they are going to war, fight to death in sight. Mal think! Three times in the battlefield, and not give birth to a son!
A woman fears is always prone. He does not want fighting, steel is horrified ... but that does not touch the marriage bed, there is then a most bloodthirsty soul!

Victoria Secret Best Bra For Small Breast

The scruples of a morbid writer

The cover of my book says: "In the work of Edgar Allan Poe, poet of death and dissolution, Eureka represents, with its poignant philosophical ingenuity, the desire for an optimistic view of life. " So majestic is attributed to the book he wrote Edgar Allan Poe. No one can deny that Poe is a poet of death and dissolution, but my disagreement lies in why you can believe - or say in the worst-that mentality and creative power is based on a philosophical naivete , a case which Poe wrote is out of the stirrups or early conscientiously? I do not know, in any case I intend to refute the adjective attached to it: philosophical naivete, it is quite the opposite. Has sufficient capacity to create, in the history of philosophy, a kind of thinking that you can attach attributes argumentative speculative, because its foundations are not based or built in the forms of rational or logical thought. It also demonstrates, through his narrative, metaphors liberating imagination take you to the extreme, also the boundless ingenuity of his creative mind.

Recently I met a English writer - had it not been for him, he could not argue my intentions, in which speech and proposed a draft revision semantics in our language. For this author, José Antonio Marina, learning and the perpetuation of language is due to two things: first, in the semantic construction of the infant, provided by tradition, in this case their teachers or people with which it interacts, and second by the use of such language without recognizing its semantics implying the use of language we do not know precisely. This fact appears not to be aware of it, but because the unconscious mind dwells language that prevents a good use (language) or worse, we know that we use effectively to describe what we see. A recent semantic deception. His proposal on linguistic psychoanalysis: "If the unconscious is the urgency of the forgotten past, the words have their own unconscious and can be psychoanalyzed" [1] . Later he says: "when we learn a language without knowing assimilate his unconscious, his biography racked secret that lives in us and our lives" [2] .

But what kind of example can show this unconscious language? The word he uses, and to be used as an experiment, is the ingenuity . This, according to the author, is manifested in various fields (cultural, artistic, social, etc.). And so, apparently contradictory, due to their sisters in etymology: naive, innocent and genius. "These relationships may not appear explicitly in the consciousness of contemporary speaker, but are current in their unconscious linguistic" [3] . So what happens when we use these adjectives? "We use the word wit or ingenuity to score without hesitation some very different phenomena, whose common features are difficult to discern" [4] . This is where I take Joseph A. Marina. Is valued and accepted a qualifier like Poe: naive philosopher? There is a semantic gap.

Joseph A. Marina gives us his definition of wit: "Spirit is the project for developing the intelligence to live playing. His goal is to achieve freedom detached, safe from the worship and the standard. His method, the widespread devaluation of reality " [5] . Later continued: "Genius is the revolt of the intelligence that wants to stop being serious, multiplied to escape their servitude (...) has been subject to being, in truth, beauty and goodness, that is, the four transcendental metaphysical " [6] . That barbarian is not it? The author, then, is to browse various areas of philosophical thoughts such as Kierkegaard, Sartre, Marcuse, Freud, Nietzsche, etc., to achieve to demonstrate the ambivalent use of the word genius, so, to reveal the linguistic unconscious within us.

So where Poe's genius appears, within the meaning of this? Eureka, a book published in 1849, is a true reflection of the mental capacities of this author, and in this case, his cleverness as a writer, if you want to meet Poe, there you go. When you read this book shows us his intentions: to provide an ideal and a poetic-philosophical explanation of the universe, seemingly chaotic but ultimately great, remember his proposal: the original unity of being first, this contained the secondary cause of all beings and the seeds of its inevitable destruction. In addition, a grand philosophical argument that goes along with physics and astronomy. At the beginning of the work, and to understand his intentions, Poe says the same, you have to turn upside down, for his daring, well deserved, is displaying their dissatisfaction with the philosophical tradition and the explanations that have occurred on Universe. A work in which everything must turn restless spirit, because, ultimately where your wit? What is your method? In general devaluation of reality.

But why the negativity against the philosophical tradition? Two fundamental things. The first, in Eureka at the top of its pages a narrative tool that shows the position of Poe against philosophy: a person of talk about how remote we understood the reality and the Universe, speaks with an irony that seems so derogatory our knowledge today were founded in a sterile bases and disproportionate, as Aristotle blasts - And how, and their later followers, attributed to the induction and deduction methods that preclude access to knowledge. "... The game, the ingenuity, perform the same function attributed to the irony Kierkegaard: free subjectivity and inconsistency incite" [7] . Secondly, throughout the story we will find that your argument is based on intuition, use this word often, as a way of thinking and knowledge acquisition outside of inductive and deductive routes brought by tradition. Along with Poe, is a pragmatist philosopher, Charles Sanders Peirce, who founded this type of investigation as abduction. Abduction, then, is "a hypothesis, a hunch, a guess, a hunch, an intuition, not mystic but instinctively. It is the most innovative thinking " [8] . To which "is a very fallible suspicion arises from the consciousness and is determined by nature" [9] . So, is presented and expressed the thought of Poe against a tradition that is in debt.

The beauty, darkness, death, life, and more, are part of the narrative attributes more creative in the history of philosophy and literature. I remember the first time I read The Pit and the Pendulum, I read with a mist before my eyes crossed, I read in the dark. Thus Poe begins to read us, to teach and to scrutinize our own beliefs and values. Easily invites us to a sea of \u200b\u200bthoughts where we have not finished swimming, or rather, since we are so thoroughly that it is impossible to float to the reality.

a day like today marks the two hundred years since the birth of this maligned, drunk, drug addict, lewd and morbid writer, and a day like today, the writer here, feel the pleasure of having learned to sound out their thoughts so complex that are. Now, I can correct: ... Eureka is, with its poignant philosophical ingenuity, the desire for an optimistic outlook on life.

"We walk through the destinies of our mundane existence, surrounded by memories, clouded, but ever present, a larger destination that reaches far, far away in the past and that is infinitely serious.
Youth who live in, is particularly haunted by such dreams, never, however, take for dreams, but we recognize them as souvenirs. In our youth, we make the distinction clearly enough to deceive for a moment " [10]
